So happy with the personalized song!

Oh my goodness, I got a 'chanson personnalisée' for my niece and it's just the cutest thing ever! She listens to it all the time and giggles when she hears her name. The quality is fantastic. I'm definitely coming back for a book next time. Seriously, you guys should check them out!

Nice book, slow delivery

I purchased a 'livre de fées' for my daughter. The customization was pretty easy to do online, and the preview looked good. When it arrived, the book itself was quite well-made and the story was charming. My daughter really enjoyed it. My only small complaint was the delivery speed; it took just over two weeks to get to me, which felt a bit long, even for a personalized item. Customer service confirmed the timeline when I inquired, so it was expected, but still a little slow. Good value for money though.

Consistent quality for presents

This is my third time ordering from Mon Monde à Moi. I previously got a 'livre de super-héros' and a 'livre d'animaux', and this time I went with a 'pack cadeau enfant' for another niece. Each time, the quality of the books has been consistent, and the personalization has been accurate. They always manage to capture the child's likeness in the illustrations, which is a nice touch. Shipping usually takes about 2-3 weeks, which I've come to expect. It's become my go-to for unique gifts.

Good deal on first order

I was looking for a personalized book and found Mon Monde à Moi. I got a 'livre pour apprendre à lire' for my nephew. There was a welcome discount for signing up for the newsletter, which saved me 10%. The final price felt fair for a custom item. Shipping wasn't free, but the total cost was still less than some other places I looked at. The book quality was decent, and he loved seeing his name in the story. Worth it for the price and the look on his face.

Got a book, kid liked it

I bought a 'livre de dinosaures' for my son. It was easy to put his name in and everything. It took a little while to get here, maybe 10 days? But when it did, he thought it was cool. He points to his name on the pages. It was a good gift, overall.

Does anyone know if Mon Monde A Moi books are any good compared to, say, Wonderbly? I'm trying to decide between the two for a gift.

B Brett 2 months ago

I've bought from both! Mon Monde A Moi felt a bit more unique with the story options and illustrations, imo. Wonderbly is good too, but these just felt a little more special. Quality-wise, both are solid though.

They're different, Wonderbly often has more mainstream characters. Mon Monde A Moi's stories are really charming and the personalization is super deep, like you can even get songs and cartoons. Depends if you want something super unique or more classic kids' book style.

Thinking of getting a personalized book for my godchild for their baptism. What's the return policy like if something goes wrong or I mess up the personalization?

B Brett Silva 2 months ago

Since it's personalized, I don't think you can just return it if you change your mind. But if they messed up, like a typo they made, then they'd definitely fix it. I'd double check everything before confirming the order.

Hmm, for personalized stuff, returns are usually tricky unless there's a defect or their error. Most places won't take it back if you just don't like it or made a mistake yourself. Afaik, it's probably similar here.

Just wondering about the personalization process. Is it easy to add the kid's name and photo? And can you really customize the story much?

C Carly Kim 1 month ago

Super easy for the name and photo, it's all guided on their site. For the story, you pick the theme, and then the child becomes the main character, so it's customized that way. You don't write the story yourself, if that's what you mean.

Yeah, you just fill in the details. The story itself is pre-written but the character is your kid, and it's pretty seamless. Makes a cool gift.

Are there ever any good discount codes floating around for these? I'm looking to buy a couple of books.

J James B. 2 months ago

I got a 10% off for signing up for their newsletter once. Always worth checking for that before ordering.

Yeah, I think they do welcome discounts for first-time buyers. Also sometimes around holidays like Christmas or kid's birthdays you can find codes. I've seen 10-15% mostly, occasionally bundle deals.

Hey guys, thinking of getting one of these personalized books for my niece's birthday. How long does it actually take to get one delivered to the US, like to California?

B Ben K. 2 months ago

Mine took like 3 weeks to get to NYC, so Cali might be similar. They do have to make it first, then ship it internationally.

D Derek 2 months ago

Yeah, I ordered one for Christmas last year and it took a while, probably around 2-4 weeks after I placed the order. They're coming from France, so factor that in.
